The National Center for Pastoral Leadership (NCPL) is an independent, nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering the growth and quality of leadership in the Catholic Church.
Our mission and services are shaped by the outcomes of a two-year collaboration with 500 Church leaders throughout the US. They assessed the current situation in ministry — our strengths and our weaknesses — and faced the critical issues that need addressing. They formed a compelling and compassionate Vision for Ministry that is Faith-Based, Inclusive, Collegial, Outwardly-Directed, Communal and Empowering. NCPL develops resources to support your ministry today with this vision as a guide for our future.

East Coast Conference for Religious Education (ECC)
NCPL is home to the East Coast Conference for Religious Education (ECC). Now in it's 34th year, ECC is and has been a catalyst for emerging ideas, programs and methodologies in catechesis and related ministries. This popular event gathers approximately 2,000 people annually.
